my mechanic rang me today and ask me to source these items for the 964...

due to my lack of knowledge, i couldn't source them or identify for the correct items... i am thinking that they might be use for the heating ...

moreover, he gave me these pictures of the tinware , they look awful i know ...

please advice and cheers,

If you go to the Porsche website, you can get the parts catalog. Find the part numbers and it'll make your search easier.

For the heater hoses. You can buy oem or there is an aircraft hose alternative that we are using. See the suspension madness thread. Somewhere in there is a link....

If there isn't, then the link is on my fb page for dbfd motorsport

If I'm not mistaken, these are the hot air "hoses" you are trying to source (see below). Puzzled as to why your "mechanic" is scratching his head on this one....

Goughary, I've looked at Aircraft Spruce to try and source some SCAT hose from them, but not sure what diameter would be a fit. I've seen 75mm listed, and that approximates 3" ( to be specific, 2.952"). Will that work?

Yes. You can leave them if you never use the heat. But honestly, I would just replace them.

Just buy two feet of 3" SCEET tubing from Aircraft Spruce. Cut them to the same size as the ducts that came off.

The part is:

05-30612 SCEET-12 DUCTING 3"

Also a good idea to replace the hose clamps w stainless steel. They get a lot of abuse from the water and grime/ sand etc on the road

+1 Aircraft Spruce. Sturdier than the original.
