Default Locating Wing Mirror switch under dash

I am trying to locate the switch under the dash that relates to my electric wing mirrors. Adrian had suggested that it was under the main cluster, slightly to the left. Still unable to locate the switch in question I took these shots of the immediate area in the hope someone could possibly give a more precise guide:

Thanks!

No, Howard -

It's on the bottom of the instrument cowling.

Kahdmus,
When he said under the dash he meant under the clocks. From the pictures you took you have literally gone under the dashboard! Go back to the instrument clusters and its just underneath them, no more than 2 or 3 inches from them.
Cheers

EDIT: Just looked and while I was typing JB posted the above pic. Try that first and if you get stuck see my post.

I know where the selector switch is on the dash! I didnt think he could be suggesting that. I was thinking he meant a connection from the switch that was loose UNDER the dash - I guess I shouldnt have used the word 'switch!' Anyone have any ideas where there could be a loose connection?

Sorry for the badly worded post and subsequent confusion! :-(

Dear H,
There is only one switch, the selector switch which allows you to select right or left mirriors to adjust.
Then you have the adjuster on the door at the top. That is it the rest is just wiring.
You are more than likely going to have to pull off the door trim. More than likely you are going to find a pulled connector or wire. 99 out of 100 times, problems with units in the door or mounted around the door are caused by problems inside the door.
Ciao,
Adrian

Well sometimes John the reminder would come in quite useful, so feel free...especially on days like today!

Cheers,

P.S I'll print it out and leave a copy in the glovebox, just in case!

Yes, that was taken pretty much as the car came home from having them fitted, I think.

Needless to say, R, the dust has since been removed!
