Smile Recommendation for PPI in Portland, Oregon Needed

Does anyone have any recommendations for a porsche shop in Portland, OR for a PPI?

I am on the opposite coast with no Oregon contacts.

Thanks

Marque Motors can do a fair job - Kurt there has done P-cars for a while, though he was resistant to doing a leakdown test even though I was willing to pay for it.

Stuttgart Autotech in Lake Oswego works too.

Any details on the car? I might be able to give it a fly by if you need to verify anything. I am in PDX.

Also heard good things about Heckmann & Thiemann Motors. Marque Motors did the PPI on my car and a fair amount of work after I bought it to.

I live in PDX and might be able to swing by if you want a rennlister to have a look-see too.

I live in Toronto, Ontario and I had the local Porsche dealership do the PPi in Oregon for a 964 I was looking at. Very well detailed overview of the car and I believed saved me from making a huge mistake.

Interesting.

Well, at least where we are, it's a list of shops that checked a box somewhere saying they worked on Porsches, but the vast majority are not what I would call a resource in terms of the marque. Oh, and the ones "advertising" at the top of the list, by and large, are not the ones to go to.

The local PCA chapters are almost always a better starting point. Then talk to the locals about their experiences with those shops.
