Default rear trailing arm clearance

Hi guys

What's everyone's idea on how much clearance there should be from the rim to the trailing arm..not a great picture but it does not touch the arm in its current position with a 6 mm spacer. If 6mm is fine I might just be able to get away from having to get extended wheel studs.
The wheels are 10.5 inch wide..I don't have tires sorted but will be 265's so I suspect that the tire should not really sit outside of the rim.

I need to run the minimum amount of spacer possible to keep the wheels from moving out past the guards anymore than they have to. I will have to roll the guards /lips to give a bit more clearance..

A tire on that rim will touch the trailing arm. 10,5 is to much on a NB 964. Stick to 9,5 or 10"

The wheels I really wanted (speedlines) are rediculously priced, and with the copy wheels just don't seem to look right in my eyes.
These techart wheels are only available in a 10.5 inch rear so will have to make them fit..

Once you put a tire on that there's no way it will clear. At least not at et60. Why can't you run a spacer?

The picture I posted is with a 6 mm spacer...with a 6 mm spacer I might just be able to get away from having to change to longer wheel studs. Any wider and I won't get enough turns on the nuts.

I would want at least 5-6 mm clearance to the arm, however unless your tyres have a little stretch they will be very very close.
