hmm. In that case there might noth be a problem. My C2 had CUP-pipe and normal cat. I remember they measured 96db in pipes. There isn't that much different so I think trackside measure, you will pass test.

I was looking for the early 2.7 howl as apposed to the tug boat on the Tyne.
We managed it with this setup. Heat is been sorted at the mo.
The power is now seamless (De-Cat, cup pipe on previously) and the howl is awesome (not a word I throw about). Give him a call and have a chat.
He has my previous back box so might do a deal...
Very nice exhaust, would you have a Dino plot ,
what mods do you have on your engine ?
Cheers

I have a hi-flow cat fitted and primary bypass pipe. The OEM secondary has just blown the baffles and rattles horribly. I was thinking of getting the Dansk sports secondary or maybe a used OEM secondary. Alternatively just replacing the secondary with a G pipe is an option but I don't want the car to sound ridiculously loud. Any thoughts would be welcome.

First I've heard of this! Hopefully it survives until it's time for Motec. But lets just say I didn't spend a year building this thing to baby it, so I guess we'll see.

Any good aftermarket secondary mufflers in case I end up needing one? Dansk any good?

FVD also carries a sport secondary here.

Probably a bit louder than stock.

Based on P964nut's post, even a sport cat might not be enough 'filtering' to reduce exhaust pulse force.

At over $1k for secondary its a bit of a gamble to learn what works and what doesn't.

Yeah, not the most comforting thought is it? But on the other hand there is no way in hell I'm going to let a muffler stop me from enjoying my car. Fingers crossed!
