Default 964 heater stuck on hot

Need a little help please. My centre vents always are blowing hot air. When I change the dial to cold all other vents give out cold whilst the middle vents blow hot at all times. Any help would be very much appreciated and thank you in advance!

Its most likely a stuck servo motor. There is a complete section in Adrian's book (pg. 472-474) on how to troubleshoot and possibly repair your existing servos. I was able to repair two of mine that were not functioning.

Can be simple, just check if 'ball joint' on the servo's controlling the mix flap are in-place. If loose, flap stays open.

Thank you so much. Seems like a very common issue. Are the servos easy to get to? Thanks again for all the replies.

Thirst check the servo!

You need 2 persons, one looking at servo's when the other person is changing settings on the CCU.

Again, there is a big chance you only have to reconnect the flap control on the balljoint.

You can also use a 'Hammer' to test the servo's.

Servo doe not come cheap, $ 200,- minimum!

Link below gives you all the information to test:
