My new exhaust system!!
I recently purchased a set of exhaust system from Japan. They're called Volcano. I have no affiliation with them, but thought I'd share with the community about these guys. The welding work is quite amazing, and I can't wait to put these on.
This system is a full race with headers and muffler, as well as heat exchanger. All I can say right now is that it's very well put together.

I went to their website, and it's all Japanese. Wrote them an email asking about their system. Then I found a Japanese tuner site that sells the exhausts and their sale guy speaks English.
I guess I'll give them a plug.
You can see all the type of exhaust they on their website (All Porsche by the way).

I can PM the contact person from the guy that set up the sale for my system for those who is interested.

the headers look nicely done. I've never seen the heat exchanger inside the muffler, the only thing I would do before mounting that up would be to somehow pressure check the heat exchanger inside the muffler. it is a single uninterrupted tube running through the muffler then you're probably ok, but I've seen and had plenty of fabricated stainless mufflers crack at the welds and if that leaks carbon monoxide into your heater ducts....not good...

Yeah, I have never seen the heat exchanger inside the muffler. I'm assuming they have different chambers in the muffler for the heat and exhaust gas. Otherwise, suicide for me
This wasn't cheap but I was looking for something different. Judging from the fabrication, the build is top notch. I'm going to install it this weekend and will post more pics.

Interesting setup. What diameter is the pipework?
£2100 / 3200 for the stainless system
£3200 / $4800 for the titanium system!

I got the full race stainless system. The diameter is around 2.5" piping on the headers and the welded in muffler tip is 3".
The headers are very light weight. The muffler is a little heavier but nothing compare to the stock Primary.

The above Video is Porsche 964 Dyno Run on SAKURA Dyno System. It's my friend's 964. This Porsche 964 is '90 Carrera2 with a stock engine and a sport muffler. My friend changed an air flow meter to NISSAN HotWire from stock air flow meter. And then, I modified a fuel map and an ignition map of DME chip for NISSAN HotWire stay on the Dyno. In the result, horse power gain has increased 53.8hp.
That is to say, this carrera2 was able to output "303.8hp".
It's wonderful 911 !!!
Specification of Carrera2
Engin: stock engine
Muffler: Volcano Sport muffler(w/o catalytic converter)
Air flow meter: NISSAN HotWire Air Flow Meter
DME chip: my original chip
