I'm having trouble fitting the front bumper back properly. It seems like the rubber seal (smile) has shrunk. I also have to push in the bumper hard, or it won't stay in place. It doesn't appear that anything is obstructing. Are there any tricks or ideal sequence to the steps to mounting? Thanks.

Study the gap along the top where the bumper slides in, particularly under the headlight buckets. Maybe you're catching on those harness clips/guides that run over the front impact beam.
