Targa with 17" Rufs
Thought you might like to see my 1991 Targa C2 with its newly refurbished 17" Ruf wheels. Diamond polished rims with satin black spokes and inner rims. Michelin PS2s.
I've also added nearly-new Bilstein B6s with Cargraphic-branded red H&R springs.
I wanted it to have a classic, period look to match the matt black roll hoop.
Also matt black bonnet badge and Rennline strut brace.
Ride is even better than the stock old shocks.
All the best
Chris

Beautiful car, but I am a sucker for a nice Targa! Like you said, I think the wheels really flow with the bar and other black bits.
If you don't mind me asking, what did the suspension install run you? I'm looking to have a set of springs of fitted. I would normally do it myself but don't have the tools or space over here.

By the way we need to do that Targa shoot with John R. And was thinking of a combined article for W9O - 'a tale of two Targas'...

Was lucky as had a heads up on 964 Club Facebook page. They occasionally come up on Ebay.
Many thanks. With a slightly fussier top half of the Targa profile I think the wheels need to be simple and not over complicated. Hence why the D90s work so well.

Three Wheelin'
I think replica cup 1's would look much nicer than Ruf's on your car - your wheels however would look great on a slate grey coupe.
I just happen to know someone who might part with their reps though!
