RS Center Bumper
I just received mine from Cult Werks. Great product. Can't decide if I should install myself or have the bodyshop do it. Any issues or snags you came across while going through the installation?

With the proper tools it's not that difficult. The trickiest part is relocating the tow hook receptacle. You can cheat by drilling through the bumper cover. It won't show since it's hidden behind the license plate.

So after 2+ months waiting on parts the gearbox is finally sorted out and for the first time I had a chance to drive the 964 and enjoy it. Also was able to compare it back to back with my 993. The 3.8 engine in the 964 is definitely stronger than the Varioram 3.6 in the 993. It's quite noticeable as you get on the throttle even at relatively low RPMs. The 964 would make for an awesome track car, it pulls so hard. That said the 993 is still a better overall package for me. But the 964 is no slouch and is quite enjoyable in its own way. They are all great cars in the end!

Love the photo It is like I tell my wife, it is great to have choices! Enjoy them in good health!
And yes, the 993 is the complete package. I got a chance to drive a friend's 993 a few weeks back. Brought so many good memories when I had one. Would love to own another one in a not-too-distant future. But never letting go of my 964, love how it feels as well..

Yeah, it's off to a great new home... The 964 was too similar to my 993 and despite the extra power I do prefer my 993 in the end. I also don't have the luxury of keeping too many cars at the same time frankly. I'm sure I'll be beating myself over the head over it at some point but c'est la vie... I'm happy I had a chance to build the car. It was a great experience.

The 991 physically is too big of a car for me, I don't care how much stuff they remove and how light they make it. And let's not talk about the cost hehe...

Carry on!
Edit: And I completely agree... if I had a 993 I think that it would be my first choice as I got out to drive... I had one, that I miss dearly.... A friend recently bought a 1996 C2 Cab, pristine, and I got to drive it the other day... what a driver's car.... it was that same day that I took the plunge and ordered the transmission for my 964... can't buy a 993 at the moment... so I have to get the 964 back on the road... not a 993 but as close as I can get to it for now...

I honestly prefer the look of your silver RS-look 993 than the look of your GPW 964. And your 964 is basically a clone of mine except for the white wheels and yellow lights.
RS style 993s have been catching my eye a lot lately.
