HVAC Servos
Hey guys-
So is there a real solution to aging HVAC servos? I have #2 and #4 out to a electrical wizard friend but what if he can't get them to work properly? Or what if the fix only lasts a year?
Is there a solution besides buying used ones off somebody else (that work now but may not in a year?)
Wonder if any modern part can be retrofitted....?

PARTisan Autoteile in Germany refurbish servos and a competitive price. I've used their services many times.
The problem is that the motor wear out and eventually short circuits. This causes damage to the internal PCB track limit switches.
PARTisan is the only vendor I know that delivers a reliable refurbish service for these servos. It includes changing both the PCB, output gear spring contacts and motor.
Cheers,
Tore

Thank you guys for reminding me about Michael at PARTisan. We talked quite a bit today - he was very responsive - and I sent my two mixing servos off. Can't wait to get the refurbed ones!
One more thing crossed off my short list... :-)
