Default D90s are back in style

Am I the only one who thinks the D90s look awesome on this car?

I'm not so sure about the glue-on white lettering though as this is a bit too much in the RWB direction for me. I am tempted to get my D90s out of the attic and have them coated black though!

Yup, they look good on Larry's.
I 'm debating selling or plasti dipping mine as well
Problem is the lack of tyre options...

They do look good in black. I wonder if those are the forged ones.

I find plenty of options, in fact all the Extreme Summer tires are available in 205/55 - 225/50 x 16

+1 They especially look great in black on a lowered car.
Give Plastidip a try. Works great, and peels right off if you don't like it.

For autocrossing/track work I used to run a 225/245 Hoosier, or Kumho combo 7"/8"....quite effective.

I like my d90's. And I agree they look good on lowered cars. But they will always be a "pretty" wheel and a "cute" wheel...I use them for my snow tires. And every spring, when I put my cups back on, I am very happy the d90's are off. But yeah, the cars look good on d90's for sure. If the prices go up from here, there will always be a lot of better options though...imho

It seems you are not the only one that likes them, but YES they are ugly wheels.
Hideous even. Some years ago I bought a 964 with cups and the owner asked if I wanted
the extra D90's for free? I said give me 500$ and I will take them.
Your results may vary.

not a big fan of the D90s... i keep BBS wheels on the stash in the event i buy a 964 that has D90s..

one thing however, they sure have a nice ride on the 16" tire. Feels great in the city.

Perhaps a matte black D90 in reproduction 18" would look kinda cool?

I also like how they look in black. What is the plasti dip process? Couldn't they just be painted?

I'd like to see what D90s in 17" and 7,5/9" would look like on a lowered car. I think it could look pretty cool!

Indeed. The only one I don't see is the BFG Rival, but other than that, great selection.
