Just spent a rewarding 10 minutes on the computer!

I haven't had the need to ask for specific help, YET, but the general knowledge gained is priceless!

Default 2286 VIEWS - How few donations?

Come on guys - Like many of you I looked at Adrians Site some months back and was touched by the story of Natalie. This was before the latest drive to set up the Trusts.

Like many of you would have been, I was genuinely touched by the story and felt for Adrian & Family.

A donation may not be made by everyone ( 2286 views of this thread when i am writing this vs. how many donations? Shame on us if we have not averaged a $ per view) but at the very least lets get Adrian some coverage.

I have sent the following out to several friends by email as even if the message both of the sadness & waste of serious drugs reaches one extra person that will be as a result of me reading about Natalie.

Content I sent out

Just think of the number of emails ( mainly junk ) that you find time to read in work and send between friends, invest 10 minutes reading this link then redeem yourself by sending on something worthwhile instead to the next waste 10 minutes funny list you forward.

http://www.adrianstreather.com/natalie.htm

Adrian is trying to raise funds to set up some charitable trusts for others in memory of his daughter and after reading this if you want to donate you can do via ( Pay pal - adrianstreather@rennlist.com )

If you can donate money great! no matter how small an amount!
If you do not feel that charitable after reading forward on to at least 10 people on your friendly email list.

Thanks Guys. Your donations and kind words are sincerely appreciated and humbling. We are slowly grinding our way to our first target. I hope we can still garner more support for our goals because we shall return far more than we are given.
Ciao,
Adrian

Hi Phil,
I live in a village 4 miles from Banbury, in the 6 months we've had our car I've only seen about 3 other 964s in this area. You can't miss our's bright red especially if I clean it, and in the 5k miles wev'e done in it nearly all with the roof off. My wife really wanted a convertible and the targa seemed a good idea, but the wind noise with the roof on is louder than the drilled airbox! Just spent 20mins removing and cleaning idle stabilzing valve trying to stop idle from dropping to 500 then bouncing back to normal at 900 so time for a test drive. Maybe see you sometime, where are you
Cheers

Hi Richard

I'm in Heyford, about eight miles south of Banbury. Look out for a Forest Green C4.

Hope to catch up sometime!

Cheers

Bump - back to the top.

Adrian, glad you received it. Paypal's definitely the easiest way.

Just a quick update on the donation drive. We have had 85 donations worldwide. We are 80% towards our initial target of $US5,000. On behalf of my family and our cause I would like to sincerely thank all those who have donated so far. No amount is too small. Paypal donations can be made via adrianstreather@rennlist.com for bank transfers please contact me directl yor go to our web site. Just a quick note on the web site. We have had over 10,000 visitors in the 11 months the site has been up. For a web site that is just named after my name this is great. Just passing the word in our cause against drugs is worth the effort. My thanks to John Miles who maintains my web site.
Ciao,
Adrian

Scottish Bump.

OK MR Boggiwotsit, your entreaties have caused a Scotsman to get out his cheque book and send a cheque direct to the bank ... well it is in Scotland after all!

Quite an achievement!

Excellent! Next please!! It's a worthwhile charity and the fact we all drive Porsches, getting the cheque book out should be something we're used to!!
