Just as well you showed me that - I was going to solder discrete LEDs into the original holders...

I like the idea of swapping the old lights out with these. I have my speedo out right now to repair the broken odometer / tripometer gears. Might as well replace the bulbs while they're out.

I'm assuming the bulbs are used on all the instruments. Gotta figure out how many I need. Just basically want brighter back lighting. So I'll go with white.

I think total to the entire dash:

Speedo: 3 white
Tach: 2 white, 3 green
Oil: 2 white, 8 red, 1 green, 2 yellow/orange
Fuel: 2 white?, 3 yellow/orange
Clock: 2 white, 2 green, 9 red.

11 white
6 green
5 yellow or orange
17 red

Correct me if I wrong.

Resurrecting this thread (since sifting through Search results pointed to this as the most useful starting point).

Question: for those of you who replaced the bulbs with incandescent (i.e. stock) bulbs were you able to source them at a place other than the dealer? If so, would you kindly share the details?

Thanks in advance
