having a bit of a check tidy up in the engine bay and have removed the fuel rail and stacks with the intention of getting the injectors cleaned and checked any advice on separating the injectors either end I have removed the small retaing clip on the top side do they now just pull out ?are they being held with the o rings ?
I am curious as well. When cleaning my engine bay and had fuel line from rail undone, clip removed and began a light straight out pull, nothing... Aborted.. Will address another time
Cheers for that Vandit I gave them a pull today but were pretty solid however my enthusiasm was dropping with the temperature today ,will give them another go tomorrow

I hear yu - I just gave up too cos its too cold!
If you can lever the rails somehow (screwdriver under the hold down tabs or under the rail itself) you can slowly prize them loose rather than tugging too hard and knacking something (hands/face/fuel rail).
Have a good clean of the area as I guarantee one will pop loose and p155 fuel everywhere and wash and grit or crap into the hole you just yanked it out of.
^^^ yep - The lower oring is quite recessed and as such a load of crap builds up on top of it. (at least mine were) Get a can of carb cleaner with the fine straw on the the end to blast the crap out before pulling them out as it will go down the hole
Cheers for that boys no worries on anything dropping in i have the rail and injectors on the bench hope its warmer tomorrow it turned bloody cold today
You can DIY, but to be honest I'll just hand them over to somebody who does it professionally rather than mess about with all the chemicals and electrodes myself. The costs I've heard bounded about doesn't really warrant DIY in the same way Powder coating isn't worth DIY either.
Anyone getting stuff plated make sure you clean inside and out of everything you get back - blasting grit gets everywhere and is terminal for an engine, please dont ask me how I know!
