help question
hi i have started my top end refresh and at the moment i am strugling to get the clutch fork shaft out to split box from engine i have undone the bolt retainer and have inserted a 5mm bolt into the end of the shaft to pull on but no movement at all is this common any help would be apprecitated regards ray

I love how these motors look when they first come out for a rebuild.
Good luck with the project. Don't forget to soda blast the engine tins and have them powder coated (if they aren't too rusted through...

I had difficulty removing the clutch cross shaft on my cab, the first time I did it. For me, the trick was to put a long 6x1.0 bolt in and then I used a claw hammer claw to pull the shaft out. I used a block of wood to help brace the hammer.

thanks rob at least am on the right track need to get a longer bolt tomorrow and try again did yours have needle rollers or plastic bushses mines a 91 this is were am at now waiting to go onto engine stand
