Default Bump steer

Should I have bump steer at this height? Should it be able to be adjusted out?

My car is virtually that same height, or perhaps a little lower on koni adjustables. No bump steer.

Any idea what could be adjusted to clear up some bump steer at that height?

Can you run RS wheel carriers on a C4?

Yes, if you machine them a bit.

I'm actually not so certain that bump steer is my problem. When driving along at highway speeds holding the wheel straight, the car will sort of jump left and right. Really doesn't seem to be related to bumps. It's just unpredictable, but everything in the front end is tight and in good condition.

Default Alignment?

Last time aligned? Air pressure in tires? Rear alignment?

How much camber do you have in the rear? When I was around -2.5, the car would wander around on the highway a bit. But now at -2.0 its much better.

My car felt similar to what you are describing when I learned that my rear spring plates were shot. My car felt very squirmy. Have you given yours a look at all? just a suggestion..

I was on bilsteins and H&R green springs at the time, in case I needed to clarify that.

If your car was recently lowered, check that your inboard steering links are installed correctly. If they are off or are at an angle you might have an issue.

I haven't adjusted the height in the time I've owned the car

The negative camber can cause the car to follow imperfections in the road. Depending on how wavy the road surface is, it can get busy when behind the wheel.
