I would like it to sit a little lower. The biggest cosmetic complain I have against car is the front bumper style porsche did back then.
My first task might be to switch out the cassette player with a cup holder. I hope I wouldn't get any complaints about that if I decide to sell in future.

Good suggestion. ****, there is a paddle shifter kit available for the Tip. I think it's a great mod for these cars. Check out this thread:

Also you can search the forum for "paddle shifters" or "works bell" as there are a number of installation threads.

Leakdown results look good BTW.

Call Steve when you order the chip. He's in Cali, so he'll know exactly what you need. He has chips for various octane levels and different exhaust configurations. Excellent advice and service!

Really? A lot of people say that, but it blows away the ugly impact bumper design that Porsche did from 74-89...

When you get a longhood right next to a 964, and look at it closely, you'll see they did an amazing job...

I love those shots Jetta. They tell the story perfectly.

Thanks guys. I think paddles would be a great addition! I hate to, but I think I may agree on bumper. Maybe a front splitter would make it look a little more sharp...

Don't mess with the car. No splitter.
That is a valuable car.
Tip or no tip.

+1 leave it dead stock, fix what doesn't work only. If you want to mod one, buy another cheaper one.

I was explaining to my wife what a "long hood" was the other day. I wished I had stumbled onto this thread earlier. Would have made life a LOT easier.

".... so the hood is longer but the car is not longer ..... no I don't get it ..... please explain it one more time ......"

Your 94 C2 tip or not has real potential to go up in value. Doing mods will only serve to reduce it's future value.

If you don't care then by all means mod it the way you want. At the very least keep all the factory parts. Even the cassette deck.
