Not sure of the euro RS but the RSAmerica did not have the seat pivot mounts that are commonly used for the rear uprights. I had to weld in inserts for a DAS bar. if this bar was made for the RS you might be using the wrong rear mounting points. You might relocate the bar using the multiple holes and see if it aligns with the seat belt mounts or the seat pivot locations.

Mark, I have never seen a bar mount that far forward of the B pillar. Have you tried moving it back to the B pillar or just behind the pillar and noted where the rear legs hit? Is your bar AL or steel?

The bar is steel. The rear is set by the seat belt receivers and the front lands where you see it. I can try pushing it back as you suggest but uncertain what I would attach the rear to. I will try it and see what it (mis)aligns with. Mark

So I slid the bar back and you guys are totally correct! The rear aligns with the seat pivot NOT the seat belt receiver! I never even thought of checking that location as I assumed it was the seat belt location....thanks!
