Default Deep Dish Look for NB

Call me old school but I love the old school deep-dish look. From what I can gather there aren't many wheel options out there that can achieve this look given the NB offset limitations. For those who have achieved this whether through tweaking stance or custom building a 3 piece wheel, can you post some pics? FWIW, I currently have original Cup 1s on a C2. Thanks.

From my attempts and findings, I've never seen more than a 3 inch rear outer lip achieved.

By comparison the wide body RSR on NB trailing arms run a rear outer lip of +5 inches.

I do love those Fuch style deep dish wheels on the Singer 911's. Gorgeous!

My goal is a deep dish rim. So 3" lips is the max for a narrow body? (That didn't come out right.lol) From the pictures I have seen of rims on narrow bodies, they look deep enough for my liking. I just don't want rims with no lip at all. 3" in the rear should look ok although the deeper the better.

If you guys want a car for deep dish, a NB 964 isn't the car for you. The front wheel well is very tight and the rear is possible to achieve 3" of lip, but you're going to be looking at fender work and camber.

I believe mine are a 4" lip. I will measure when I get my car back next week.

Will do Frank. I have been wanting to get 5mm spacers for the rear to bring the wheels out just a touch more.

Car has been in storage for three years, getting a few little things done to it.

Those wheels are only made to appear to have large lips. The spokes recess into the barrel and create a false lip.

you are correct, that's why I went with them. Only way to get a true deep dish wheel is having a widebody.

Looks great! Pretty clever design. Who makes those?
