Default Tyre seizes

I could use some help about tyre sizes for a 964 C4.

Front wheel is 8x18 rear is 9,5x18 (eta beta twists)
Front tyre I would like 215/35.

What do I need in the back? 245/35,255/35,or ....

Thx
Glenn

Yup that's what I'd do also. Maybe even a 265 on the rear depending on how much meat and clearance you want.

Those are the recommended sizes.
But I want the 215/35 in front, which size do I need in the back then?

Why do you want a narrower tire with a smaller overall diameter than the "stock" recommendation?

There is no tire available which will keep you in spec for overall diameter.

225 40 front
265 35 rear

Had these sizes on 18" for a while, no issues with rubbing ect.

Frank or 964russ:
you had 225/40/18 and 265/35/18 could you share your respective wheel offsets of you have them handy, and are ether or both of you in a C4? Sorry frank can't remember if Bbetty is a 2 or 4.... I ask cuz I have a 4 and wondering about overall tire diameter issues relative to the pdas....

Hi mate,

C4 here. Most extreme offsets I run are ET47 and ET32.

Offset? Good question, the wheels are oe 18" 5 spoke boxster s rims.
The thin spoke lightweight ones.
Dunno the offset?

My car is a nb c2.
