Spitz,

First off, congrats on the car. She's a beauty. I recently picked up the same color combo/year and am thoroughly enjoying the drive, although I don't have near all the upgrades/modifications that you do.

From the pics, it looks like you've got the linen interior and in your mod list, it states that you have RS door cards. Would you mind posting a couple of pics of the interior? I'm trying to decide if I should go the RS door card route, and whether the cards should be black or linen.

Again, congrats on the ride and enjoy her in good health.

Thanks,
Jon

Hi Jon -

Thanks so much for the complements. Happy to hear you have the same combo! Definitely my favorite.

The photos I previously posted were taken by the PO before he sold the car to me. I still have to take some photos myself, and post them. He converted the interior to the RS door cards, and some plastic GT3 seats that I don't care for. My plan is to do a light revamp of the interior, keeping the RS door cards and carpet set, but removing the Raid steering wheel, gauge surrounds, and Momo shift ****. I'll replace the seats with Recaro pole positions. Here are a few shots of the interior from what I have in hand right now.

Would love to meet fellow 64ers in the bay! Hopefully I'll have sorted out new brakes by then.

Default sweet car

Looking at the pictures I am ready to get some mods like you have my car is mostly stock and does a good job but looking at your list makes me want to take the slippery slope. As you can see with my avatar I like the grey as I have Stone Grey Mettalic. I have been told there were only 250 of my cars made. You have a true Gem for sure ..

Congrats on your great acquisition!!

I passed on a super clean Slate Gray in San Jose before I got my GPW.

I'd be up for a drive, as long as I could spend some of it behind yours for some great exhaust notes!!!

Here are a few more shots of the car after I brought her home!

And of course, the first obvious fix will be oil leaks! I noticed on the front passenger side, there was oil seeping from near the jack point. Looks like the leaks are coming from the aftermarket oil cooler hoses and the rear to front hose the runs along the side skirt area. I know the car has a dual oil cooler set up. I imagine the driver side is the aftermarket one, as this passenger side oil cooler seems OEM.

Wow, just wow!

I better not show the pictures to my car, or she'll get very upset and jealous. Your car is made even better given the skilled people involved in its build.

I want a garage full of different color 964s as they all look so fun... but sometimes I look at my car and dream about have two slate grey cars. One mostly stock like mine, and an evil twin like yours. It would be silly to own two slate grey cars, but the color looks so good on a 911.

I didn't know slate grey was a cost-extra option.
