Jev, if you are serious about having cold feet, I'd seriously take the TT off your hands.

And there was me thinking there would be a queue forming for the great spec 964 that is too good to cut up!

Get the 993 on the radar or find another tattier 993 and have some fun banzaiing the crap out of it.

Are you thinking of keeping it plush/comfort spec or putting the thing on a diet and stripping it out?

I agree. Standard 964 power is still plenty to overwhelm the chassis. I know from experience that I can easily get mine out of shape, especially in the wet. Adding too much power means that it becomes a point and squirt machine which is not really the point of a NB 964 IMO.

I was bidding against you on this engine lol The guy had zero feedback and lived in Shetland Islands I think it worried me he was a fraudster ! so I did not bid properly as I wanted to inspect engine first.

I have the car to put it in and you have the engine lol.....

I'm guessing that your first suspicion was correct. That has got scam written all over it.

Funny how many 70k mile 911 engines appear for sale on Ebay and Gumtree located in the Shetlands

Sounds like a grand plan - anyone got a lhd 993 C2 manual with no sunroof or engine kicking about?

ITS a 3.6 vram engine car has been lightened bar the full roll cage,Alcon big calipers big disc etc KW suspension coilovers, 6 speed box was looking for a turbo engine to drop into but very rare!

ebay item number ended now and removed from ebay historical data as they must have cottoned on to him. I will try to add pic but not sure it will work.

Pic looks familiar, LA dismantlers often have 22 lumps in stock for about 15k.
