It’s rather unfortunate that there are so many uncouplous sellers out there that will do whatever they can to dupe a buyer. Used car sales has always had a very high level of dishonesty associated with it but it seems lately It’s being taken to a higher level to really bring in the big bucks. What’s interesting is that it seems to be commonplace for the 964, maybe because they were so undervalued for so long that very few good original cars exist anymore?

Nathan gave a rather detailed seminar on the future of the market at Tech Tactics East yesterday. I believe it was streamed live but they might have it up on the PCA site. Worth a look.
The problem with the shops playing these games is that their customer base is not the educated consumer but the other % of the market that doesn't visit the forums. My big concern is I am seeing things that don't add up at the highest level. Coming attractions to an auction near you. The ultra wealthy buying into some of these cars can easily be taken by things that only a very discerning eye can detect. Hopefully they hire someone knowledgeable enough to point out the nuances. I have no issue if the cars are sold as restored but that seems not to be the case.

Seems they haven't posted it. At least yet. The Rob Ida presentation was cool. He does nice work. I used to cast parts for the Tuckers he built years ago. Have a hood ornament and some other parts floating around.
