Random Knowledge Question
So I'm cleaning up a couple of minor oil leaks and had to replace the O-rings under the "Oil Bridge" between the head and the cam chain case. I was holding the odd little part in my hand and wondered what purpose the little cylindrical **** might have (on the right side end in the photo).
It doesn't have any openings, doesn't seem to come off and doesn't appear to house any obscure mechanism.
Any wizards of arcane Porsche knowledge out there have the answer?
