Default RS America value help...

So I wasn't really looking for an RS America but I have come across one that is fairly local to me. I went and looked and its a very pretty car.

Wondering if the forum can help me trying to figure out what its worth.

Midnight Blue
70k miles original miles. No mods to motor.
Eibach springs
Aftermarket air filter (K&N, I think)
B&B exhaust
Fikse wheels (original not included). Tires look pretty new.
Aftermarket stereo and door speakers
Some DE use with typical rock chips on front bumper
2 owner car and current owner has had it since 3700 miles.

Assuming it checked out at PPI, what would you think was a fair deal?

TIA.

If it's a non-sunroof car, with no leaks and it's in good shape I'd say $50k-$60k Ball Park

If it has a sunroof I'd subtract $5k. Just my personal opinion tho.

btw, I got confirmation today that that 150k car sold for 100k...

Id say with the previous accident damage, assuming perfectly repaired, 55-65k. BTW, there is no such thing as a slow speed deer collision. Deer are fast, if you're going slow you'll never hit one. Not even if you try. I'd be very interested to see inside the frunk to see if there was any straightening.

Value is a subject that I am contemplating right now ...

I purchased a 21k mile midnight blue rsa that has the the sunroof option (removed), a/c (removed) and the original radio (still installed).

The car has about 4,500 track miles although the motor was upgraded to a 3.8l 700 miles ago by a very reputable shop. It has the big turbo brakes all around and jz shocks. The car has the cup car wing and most of the original interior including seats and steering wheel. Car is probably 7or8/10 cosmetically.

It does not have the following:

Original wheels
Original wing
A/C parts
3.6 Liter Pistons and parts

I want to insure at an agreed value of 55k. Any thoughts?

Ed,

That's about right for insured value, but as a collector car, your can is unfortunately ruined. I'd say it's a great driver/DE car and on today's market worth about 45-50k where a 8/10 car that has never been track modified can sell in the 75k range right now. If your focus is value I'd start trying to collect original parts and bring the car back to it's proper state. Even then, 4500 miles on the track is a hard life and will always affect the value somewhat.
