Well after my first weekend of competition with the new brake set up I can confirm the pedal box is better. Although it was damp my first run was only 1 sec off my fastest time and within a couple of runs I was only a few tenths off my P.B. and even when it rained the control and feel was still very good.
So next it's time to fit the new twin plate clutch system which I'll get some photos of!! Also if anyone is interested ill have a complete LWF/clutch assy for sale

great stuff Simon,

1000kg is well possible, that has got to make it one the lightest road going 964s out there?

when you've run out of stuff to remove or change give me a shout, I'll come round and help you write a big 'to do list' to get you well below 1000kg

Hi Rob
Let me get it stripped then I can measure everything and calculate the percentage wear/ check alls ok. Mind the flywheel is only a couple of year old! And I only do 1500 miles in a year Ha Ha.
Hi Captain
Cheers ill take you up on that offer! But I think next thing is to build the car properly and strip and dip the shell get rid of all that heavy under seal and unnecessary brackets etc!
Here's a picture from the weekend that someone has taken
Simon.

Not at all but it will be a rough weight as I don't have any accurate scales for those items! Do you want weights of all individual parts?

Just the clutch with the flywheel would be good, thanks

I have a dual mass flywheel and clutch I can weigh for comparison

Posting pictures like that makes me want your NEW clutch setup instead but I'm guessing road manners would be heavily compromised with that setup (not an issue for your purposes).

I'll ping you a PM now.

Simon,

If Rob decides to go down the new route I would be interested, Rob dissapointed your thinking about second hand parts after all that work on your car

haha I have Simon's cast-offs sat on the garage bench. Still well within tolerance so no issues with fitting them. I can only assume that Simon doesn't try very hard

worth a try Like you Rob the plan is to whip the engine out and tidy up a few things and replace seals etc the clutch I have in has less than a 1000miles on it so not exactly top of the priority list however a LWF would be nice.
