How will you finish the " clean bare metal behind the wing ". Do you paint or leave it bare and try replicate the factory sealing ?

Cheers guys. I'm so busy that updates won't be daily boooooo

Darth. With regard to under the wings I shall be removing the rust then etch, high build primer paint. Once dry apply a sealing strip fit the wing(which will also be painted on the inside) seal the top edge then paint with the rest of the car. Sealing wax is then applied to the underside.

Hi Tom,

I'm sorry about the stance taken on the other channel, so I'll re-post my comment here and in the meanwhile I hope they reinstate you

You're a man on a mission by the look of it

Your grey was one of my all time favourite 964's, actually I'm selling you short, it was my favourite!

I'm really looking forward to this
For my two penneth, I believe your projects have a trickle down advantage to other advertisers on that site from you inspiring people to do jobs/projects of their own and buying advertisers products & services.

I'll be following you here as I don't want to miss it

Good luck mate,
Paul

Cheers for the support guys.

What it all boils down to is the fact that I'm just a massive Porsche fan and I want to give an insight into what these cars are like underneath. Also to show the average DIY mechanic that although these cars are very well engineered most jobs can be done in your garage at home.
