Default That explains that then......

Had a little wobble when hitting the stoppers, discs looked not bad from the front but the rears were absolutely shocking!!!! I'm glad I picked up replacements a while back I saw going cheap.

Anyone want to chime in on why/how the heck a rotor will start to de-laminate like that? I've never seen that before.

looks like corrosion to me. I've seen cars with rotors and other parts like that. From the north...

Wow. Our cars, and 911's in general I think, seem to suffer from this. Or maybe just cars that get infrequent use?

I think it's why you have to be careful to dry your brakes out thoroughly before garaging your car. A friend with a GT3 left foot brakes his car after washing to really heat the discs up and dry them out after a wash, and his discs always look perfect...

But those discs pretty bad. Glad you got it sorted OP.

Dont think the previous owner used it a great deal tbh, but with me it will have no such problem.
I have always thought cars are there to be driven and enjoyed
