Love the Bike by the way. I looked a building something similar myself, using a late 80's Triumph Sprint as a basis, with the aim of turning it into pretty much the same look as your's.
I have a 3 year old Ducati Monster, just for fun, mostly for runs up into the mountains for a couple of hours every now and then. I only got my licence last year, but I think I'm quite a bit older than you, hadn't ridden a bike for almost 30 years.

^^^ sounds like a cool project. monsters are great bikes, very popular here in boston. ive only had my lincese for a year or so at this point as well.

question.. going to search more but my first attempt came up empty.

what are everyone's thoughts on adding a LSD, and a shorter set of gears? its one of those "do it while im there" type projects, but certianly isnt cheap. in theory i like the idea of both. does anyone have any experience with their 964 pre/post lsd, or gearing change?

And the speedometer counties to roll. I think I'm just gonna start weighing the cash instead of counting it.
needs an oil pump.
Guard transmission club sport LSD coming. Still undecided on a gearing change. I, going cross eyed looking at charts.

starting to get a little nauseous thinking about the bill.

Man, I bought my car sight unseen with no ppi or anything. I just been quizzing my good buddy who's a master porsche tech for years and had a good feeling so I went with it. It's been a great car, sorry to hear you had to do so much right out of the gate.

Like others have said, it will be an awesome car when done for another lifetime.

Cool bike.

^^ thanks

Quick update. Can't get a guards LSD as quick as I needed so we are looking for an alternative.

Interior is nearly finished. Just sorting out the airbag and horn.

Should be on the road for the 20th. Complete with light weight wallet mod.

Thanks for the compliments on the bike. With the first snow having come I guess I get to just stare at it for a few months. Sucks.

Thanks. I should add I've read your entire black Betty thread for inspiration.

More progress. Door cards look so good. I will have the window still wrapped to match the seats sooner or later. I just want the car back at this point. Interior and stereo are the next projects. Suspension wheels by spring.

My new sound pad might not make it from pelican parts in time for the motor to go in which is a pain. Looks like a miserable install with the motor in place.
Waiting on a delivery from rennline with the last of the interior stuff. Floor boards, pedals, and a fire extinguisher and mount. All in black. Gonna be dark in there ha. Not tinting my windows. Just doesn't look proper on a 64 to me.

Maybe fate has intervened, causing you to add a little RS flavor to the engine bay. You don't really need the sound pad.

Within months they usually look ugly in every engine bay I've seen. I haven't had an engine pad in for years and I have a cat bypass, primary bypass, drilled air box and Wevo motor mounts... my kids ride in the back seat all the time.

interior is more or less wrapped up. still waiting on my interior bits from rennline.... pedals floor boards and a fire extinguisher. rothsport billtet short shifter to be installed as soon as i get the rolling tub back with the motor/trans... hopefully tomorrow

It is loud, but not too loud. You should enjoy it

Interior looks awesome. Are those pole position seats??

Got the car back to eurotech today. Saw my motor almost entirely assembled. So hopefully a week or so and it will be back on the road.

Yes, they are pole positions. Leather/suede

This is great news

Are you going to install a Golden Rod with the Rothsport short shifter?
