Ha no clue. He spent a lot of times test fitting the centers with tape measures ect. Has me convinced it will work. Gonna have to do some work on the fenders but I'm excited to see where we end up.

Congrats on the car! Looks like a nice one. I daily drove a C2 in Chicago for 3 years...my advice in the winter wash it often in the wheel wells so it doesn't rust. Winter tires are a must. Budget for repairs with older cars there will always be small things coming up. Love the Triumph.

Winter tires have been on since before the engine went back in. Couldn't have survived this winter without them, but I'm already considering what i should buy as a winter car next year

Sadly the triumph is collecting dust. Soon enough it will get detailed, chain lubed, fresh oil and gas. April 5th is my unofficial " have to be riding by no mater what bs weather conditions we have" date.

WOW! That is very wide - I'll be curious to see what camber settings you run? You may need to flatten your rear oil line to prevent rubbing. I'm assuming your rolling your wheel arch lips also?

235 on the front?
Tell us the offsets also.

Nice find frank
No talk about the oil line, or offsets. fenders will def need some "massaging".
Yes 235s up front. Thinking a Miami vice color scheme

Just went through this thread. Good stuff!
I cant wait to get my pole positions in now, they look right at home in yours.
Also, those are some wide rears! How big of lips are you going with? Slat/bubble or stepped? What model RS centers are you using?
I have my wheels up for sale as a feeler, but was looking to get some RS centers and build another set over time, 18" upconverted as well.
Looking forward to the progress.

^^ thanks. The seats ate great. Took a bit of breaking in for me to fit in them properly ( im only 5'10 200) but i love them now. Interior still a work in progress, but its my daily driver and i work too damn much.

Wheels will be a double stepped lip. Should have a 2.5 inch lip in the rear. 1.5 in the front. I forget which model rs they are to be honest. Jsutai sourced them as I'm new at this whole game despite having gone through 4-5 sets of wheels on some cars ha. I like to leave things to professionals. The way i see it i want to get it right the first time.

Still not 100% on which coilovers... Seriously considering the ah/rotiform h&r, even though this will only be at euro rs height. I like the idea of having more room to drop instead of riding the bumpstops.

Jim, please find out the offsets when you can. Especially since you'll be running sizes that aren't often covered here and so the info will make a nice contribution to the forum.

Jim,
The AH/Rotiform H&R's are designed with the low height in mind, you wont be on bumpstops.
With that rear width, depending on offset, I feel like you would have to be lower than RS height to pull those off, no?

Name is mat btw.. Username is JJM.. Ha

I will get offset info when i can. I Certainly want to contribute what i can. This place has been an incredible reference. I became a paying member as a thank you.
As for ride height, I'm not so sure i need to be that low to pull off the right look, but time will tell. All the measuring in the world wont mean a thing until they are on the car. Most likely will do a side graphic to pic up the colors in the wheels, and some interior stitching as well down the line ( think steering wheel and shift boot.. Subtle)

I just went around and around on coilovers as well and ended up ordering KW V1's. I only hear great things about the AH/Rotiforms but I only plan to run Euro RS ride height, so thought they would be over kill for me. KW V1's sound like a great street setup, and the stainless bodies sold me.

Only planning on running 18x8, 18x10 Works on it, so not as aggressive as you either though.

Put some Pole Positions in mine last fall too. I went with XL's and even being a slim guy (6'-2" - 175lbs) they are snug on me. I plan on getting them reupholstered to add some more lumbar padding to make them a little more comfortable for me.

Looking forward to seeing how yours turns out. Everything you have done so far had been very nice.
