Will they fit? Not on my cars which are lowered. My floor jack barely fits under the lift points as is.

No mention of price though. Another option I looked at is Liftbars but I have the same dilemma as Rob mentioned with my car being too low. I'm keeping an eye on CL for a Kwik Lift, they pop up for a good price from time to time.

I think as long as the jack points are far enough away from the edge of the lift stands to allow the jack to fit, they should work. It looks like there should be clearance but knowing the dimensions of the footplates of the lift stands should help. I can't see why a lowered car would matter? What am I missing?

They might also allow getting the car on regular jack stands without having to jack from the engine casing, so the wheels could come off - i.e. jack from usual lift points to get the car on the lift stands, insert the jack stands at the lift points, and lower the lift stands so the car is resting on the jack stands.

Have you emailed for a price?

If I were to get those for a lowered car, I'd drive up some thick two by fours, or even something higher, and then jack the car.

I do the same thing to get my lift bars in place, drive up on some wood and then its all good.

I'm always amazed at how confusing it is to get these things up on jack stands - you'd think the brains at porsche would have designed in a central jackpoint front and rear to make it easy...

I'm going to try the board under the front bellypan method when I next need all four wheels off the ground..

I don't get the point of these. Any time I've had to get my car that high in the air it is to do something that also involves removing the tires. You can't do that with these stands.

ESCO flat top stands + *this method* works great for me.

LPMM, sorry for the double post on the link. I did not notice your link in the post. My car is lowered as well. I jack my car up and place wood under the tires. This allows me to get my bars in place.

They did. The engine case.

I lift by the case, set two AC flat-top jack stands under the rear lift points, then raise the front of the car using one of the forward jack points. I slip another jack stand under the opposite-side jack point and lower the jack (the rigidity of the car keeps it elevated on these three stands without an issue). Then I bring the jack under one of the front suspension cross member 'humps' and slightly lift the front in order to set the fourth stand in place.

Incredibly easy and takes all of three minutes to have the car on stands. If I need it higher, I simple alternate front to back, raising the stands in increments.

I've used this method countless times over the last eight years.
