Whilst in this instance I cannot see the problem with this engine being caused by the engine bearings, our own analysis of the factory GT3 production and motorsport bearings is that they are not particularly well made, in fact for a recent GT3 engine build we had to buy two sets of bearings to get one set that we were happy to use. This is not good but I unfortunately cannot see Porsche addressing the problem since they sell thousands of them every year....
