Default Alternative source to Daniel Stern Lighting

As the title states, is there a good US source for a relay kit and high watt bulbs for H4 headlamps on a 964 ? Parts lists and contact info would be appreciated.

I have ordered from DSL 4x over the last few years, always great products, but I can no longer support a business model that takes more than 10 days to answer an email with no way to order online.

Installed H4's last night and the stock bulbs are horrible. Guess it's because I always run a minimum of 80/100w...

go to the parts store. purchase a couple of relays, get the bulbs while you are there.

Take a look at Susquehanna MotorSports.

I have bought from them several times. No issues.

Just checked their site and it has been updated, looks like you can order online but some of the reference info that was there is missing specifically the wiring diagrams and reference images.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. My mechanic had an extra set of relays and fusable links I bought today. Got home w/ an email from DS...haaa, maybe he saw the thread?! Doubt it.

I always thought the stock bulb on H4 was a 55/60. Curious to see once I install relays, and 100/130W bulbs...

Cheers,

Where are your relays? I would love to do this.

Found some great alternatives to DSL.

Ordered relays & connectors from this company. Sent measurements, relays made, 14g wiring, and already shipped. Great company familiar with what was needed on a 911, even though the website is not specific to our model.

Ordered H4 90/100w bulbs here. Already shipped

Meanwhile, almost 3 weeks to the date of my original inquiry I receive an email from DSL regarding a pay-pal invoice to pay. Great knowledge, but so far off the back in customer service and real world consumer expectations.
Done with that program.

FWIW, I found the hi-watt low beam to be too much on my turbo miata; the reflected light off bigger road signs was enough to destroy my night vision for several minutes. I think I finally settled on 60/100 or something similar- I had some flamethrowers for really dark and just good light for normal conditions.

90w lows are pretty much guaranteed to **** off oncoming traffic. Personally I wouldn't run over 60w.

Good points. I have run 80/100w bulbs in my 911's for the last 15 years or so, never had an issue, as long as they are aimed properly.
Figure another 10w on Low would be fine. We'll see....
