Default Rs bumper vents

Just bought a pair of rs bumper vents as below, however the bolts appear to on the rear. Assume this is a bumper off job and there's no way to do it without removing it? I know this is probably a daft question but hoping for an alternative!

Very nice! Similar to AP Design ones. As far as I know the bumper has to come off.

If your "smile" is wonky it would be a good chance to sort it at the same time

Did cross my mind but apparently isn't that bad to remove bumper so might as well use the correct fixings.

Typically you only have to pull the lights and the back of the bumper cover recess has to be cut out, but this can be done from the front. If you're going to duct them the bumper has to come off.

I have these from FVD. I went for the Lemass method but used the builders favourite, Gripfill... I know it's not pukka but I couldn't face removing the bumper and I didn't have the ducts. My bumper is coming off in the winter for a front re spray and to remove the washer jets so I will be fitting this up properly then.

Big issue with these if that you need to replace the indicator bulb, it's a bumper off job, because you can't get the indicator in and out with these in.......

I recently installed these. You need to pull the bumper which really only takes about 20 minutes. You need to cut out the recess for the fog lights so the tube can fit through. I assume you don't have bumperettes, if you did, you would need to drill out the bracket for those and elongate the hole a bit as well as drill a hole for the the other mounting point. I secured the ducts to the bumper, put it back on and then installed my indicators, which can be removed for bulb replacement like normal. I definitely prefer the hidden hardware instead of the visible screw.

Vegas 993: have you tried to remove your indicators with the ducts/vents fitted? What I found recently is although they all fitted together in the normal way and screwed in, I cannot get the angle for the two hooks or sliders on the rear of the indicator to line up when re-installing. I would have assumed mine would work as normal, had I not actually tried it...?

Yes I have, I put them in last after re-attaching my bumper. I have the exact same set as the ones pictured, although I got them from FVD.
