Default Greetings from new member - w/photos

I've been on a board now for about 2 months and have already received considerable assistance and good advice, all of which is much appreciated! I'm trying to figure out how to post some photos of my 1990 C2, so here goes:

Sorry for the massive size! Got to figure out how to shrink these things.

The car has already gotten some deferred maintenance sorted, to include new motor mounts, repair odo, charge AC, replace engine sound deadening pad, oil service, etc. She's been in the body shop for about 4 weeks at this point, getting the front bumper cover resprayed/new smile, repair 2-3 small rust spots under the front windshield gasket & replace windhshield & gasket, mount GP white RSA decklid/spoiler (sourced from Nathan1 on the board - couldn't stand the aftermarket 993 "bridge" spoiler on the car in the photos above), etc. I've got some more fairly minor things left to fix but I think she's getting pretty close.

It has been about 12 years since I've owned a Porsche. My previous cars were a 1969 911E targa, 944S, 968 cab, 1987 & 1988 Carrera and a 1986 928S4. I've been fooling with BMWs since then and still own a 1988 M5 and a 1985 M635CSi but, as much as I love these old BMWs, NOTHING drives like an air cooled 911. Glad to be back in the fold.

Nice!! I enjoyed "the other German make" you mentioned as well, but for the pure experience, there 's no substitute.

The car looks great. Definitely the best color. Sounds like you wasted no time to start in on improving and personalizing the car.

Welcome (back) to the fold. It looks like a great car! Are you planning on keeping it as is or any other planned mods? Can you tell us how you be using the car?

What a great looking car. Not usually a fan of big spoilers on NB cars but actually that works nicely.

Welcome to the inner sanctum!

Wow gorgeous car especially in white. Those rims look fantastic! Agreed, you need to get rid of that Turbo S spoiler.
