Does this stuff peel off? It's not my cup of tea but glad you are having fun with your car.

Old thread I know.

I just bought a set of 993 Cup II wheels, 7jx17 ET55 and 9Jx17 ET55. Nice wheels, but a lot of curb rash. I'm thinking about going the easy route for now and plasti dipping them oppossed to spending the time and money fixing the rash and refinishing them.

Anyone know if this stuff will go on thick enough to fill in around curb rash?

its forgiving, but not that forgiving.

I am glad you dug this up. I am thinking of doing my D90s in black just like this. I like it and I think inspired me enough to order the pasti dip. I would like it to be gloss.

I noticed that Home Depot has a 3M product that is similar to plasti dip, which also offers a can of clear gloss coat.

I'm thinking with my black car, an orange carrera door decal and orange plasti dipped rims would be fun for a while!

Please post your results.
