Default Power Antenna options: RetroSound PA-02 or PA-03?

I am looking at both these on Crutchfield.

My power antenna broke where the little white teethed cord (not the best description) channels up the tube to raise or lower the antenna.

I have attached a pic to see what it looks like.

The options on Crutchfield are as follows:

1) PA-02 This is a unit that has the motor separate from the antenna to fit into small places.
2) PA-03 This is a unit that is all together in one piece.

I think the PA-03 may work as it looks like mine but it is a shorter stalk underneath so my fear is that it will be too tight traveling between my oil lines in the fender.

The PA-02 most likely would be fine but wanted to see if anyone has any experience with either units.

Thanks for any help!!!

Cheers,
Bryan

Anyone out there who could help on this one? Would like to order a new one so I can finish the job. Otherwise I can install this one back in the car and just pull and push it up as needed...

Thanks,
Bryan

Does the motor still work? There is a replacement antenna mast/ribbed pushing cable on ebay

No affiliations.

Default Nice!

Thanks for that info. Just bought one and it's on the way over the pond.

My motor works fine so just that nylon toothed monster that was causing the trouble. It's also nice that I get a new mast as well so it looks new again.

Cheers,
Bryan

Default Thanks!

Rob,

Thanks again for the help. Arrived a week early and already installed and working well. Not bad for $28.

Cheers,
Bryan
