is this an odd 965/964/993?
went to look at a 965 turbo look coupe today (first porsche) and was surprised when i saw the front of the car....isn't that a 993 fender setup?
otherwise the car is mint inside.
the title says 964. its a 1994.
is that odd?
thanks

it looks like a 964, apparently the owner put 993 fenders and front clip on it...repainted.
kinda sad. i was looking for a clean 964 to sort out on my own or get something nice for more money from a true owner.
not may cars show up here in michigan, so i thought i owed this one a look over.
i assume for the price $24k somebody will buy it....not knowing much about the mashup of styles.

Hmmm... this can't be a 964 Turbo (part incorrectly referred to as a 965 - despite part no's being given that ID). The only flared rear arch 964 C4 was the 'Celebration' version - no C4 turbo. The 993 Turbo - yes, but the rear fender and lights in this one are 964. All puzzling. Interior shots may give it a way. Got a chassis/VIN number?

The 964 deck lid is the giveaway. It wouldn't accommodate an intercooler.

I think the OP said it was a listing for a turbo look and that it was titled as a 964. The issue was that it didn't look like any 964 or turbo the OP had ever seen.
Possible the "builder" was going for a sort of Turbo S Flauchbau look.
