To go fast my brother and I use the bikes:
when we are not in a hurry:
Motorcycle navigation systems (BMW Navigator 5) we use on both as the motorcycle route preference "curvy roads" works perfect for the Porsche's as well

@Captain Ahab: Directly at the east end of the Alps. You only need to drive about 15 min out of town and are really in the mountains.

I thought the scenery looked familiar and what a beautiful part of the world it is too!
I can see the last stretch of +2000m mountains that make up the Julian Alps from my front door, so I'm not too far from you.

So not nearly as pretty but this is my other car...Subaru Forester with an STI swap. Protuned to 340 HP and 380 TQ.
