Hi, the exhaust was a Haywood & Scott item. Sorry to say the 'out of the box' fit n finish were terrible and required me to find a custom exhaust fabricator to right the wrongs in addition to making several modifications I wanted. It's all sorted now but if I were to do it again I'd just go direct to a custom exhaust specialist and have a bespoke item made. The guy I found was awesome. Still loving the Specialist Components system. No issues with over-fueling as its a fully map-able. It's been on the same dyno 3 or 4 times now for various tweaks and the cars' WB O2 reading across the range is spot on.
I'll shortly be upgrading to the Delta 800 ECU (the bigger brother of the Typhoon ECU that originally came with the Specialist Components kit). Specialist Components don't actually make the ECUs, they come from SCS Delta (sister company I think). The 800 allows me to run full knock control (per cylinder), dual WB-02 for fuel trimming per bank and Coil-on-Plug. I'm in the process of putting the harnesses together now.

Well at least you’ve got the exhaust sorted now, from UK forums I’ve been looking and there’s not a lot of 964 exhaust specialists in the UK.
You mentioned the Delta 800 ECU, I’ve looked recently at the Specialist Components website and from there the Delta 400 is the kit they supply just now, which is an upgrade to the Typhoon 2 you’ve got?
My engine rebuild will be starting next year and combined with Schrick cams I’m looking at upgrading the ECU, The Specialist Components kit is something I’ve been looking at for a while now but it seems they’re changing the ECU’s regularly, you said the 800, I think the best bet for me is to contact them directly so that I get the latest kit as they’re currently quoting the 400 as the latest ECU...... confusing?
Anyway I look forward to your updates as always.

If you go with the 400 kit you'll receive a short loom adapter to connect between the ECU and the old motronic connector on the vehicle harness. If you go with the 800 you won't since the ECU has two sockets and as far as I'm aware, they don't make an adapter for this ECU.
This is not however an issue for me as the original vehicle loom was replaced a long time back. I have a entirely custom engine loom.
You need to think about what your end goal is and make decisions based on that.

Whilst that is true, you don't strictly need one. It's more important to find a very good, skilled custom exhaust fabricator that you can work with, of which there are many. Provided you stick within the established primary diameters and lengths you'll be fine.
This is the first time I've bought an 'off-the-shelf' exhaust for a project car having always gone the bespoke route before. I won't buy off the shelf again, The bespoke route proves only marginally more expensive than off-the-shelf but you get exactly what *you* want.

Very nice! Extremely clean engine bay / installation.....love the COP’s.
For anyone in the UK looking to have custom exhaust manifolds done I’d recommend having a look at Fusion Fabrications, Matt is a real wizard with the Tig-torch.
