Sorry I did not post it earlier.

I found this at Dennis Kirk. First time buying from them. I was searching more for the right LED strips. I found them in one of my many searches. It was shipped quickly. Only negative was the packaging was already opened so I question if it was once returned.

Custom Dynamics TruFLEX 100-Red LED with Smoke Tubing Professional Grade Flexible Lighting Strip - TF100RS $75.95

I found it on Amazon this week as well. ($66.99)

So far it is a very nice light. It has 100 LED and lights like a solid beam and not just a handful of LED bulbs. Wire is very light gauge but likely appropriate for 25 mA.

Yes it does. On of my favorite German words. Lot shorter than Auf Wiedersehen.

Made some progress on brake light/spoiler. Based on condition under the old third light, I think I am going to have the holes filled and resprayed. I took pics with camera today and will post them later.

Challenge is ideal path from spoiler to wiring harness.

My car is now ROW with small addition, it's safe and I feel also nice looking. If I did anything different I may consider the red lens instead of smoke. It is incredibly bright.

Old holes are filled with steel, the wiring is intact, I connected to new light after routing it. I filled gap with caulk filler to hold in wires.

I like this. Did you recess it into the spoiler or is it atop the surface of the spoiler?

Thanks. That is the sort of question I hoped for. I planned to recess but found it was difficult to do and the spoiler did not come apart.

i spent winter searching Internet for low profile and flexible LED so it could follow the curve of spoiler. It is held on by 3M tape that came with it. It also had enough wire to feed through the spoiler.

this looks great...I would like to do the same as I have a 993 Targa and if I get rid of the basket handle, the 3rd brake light would have to go on the spoiler...how is this holding up?...any issues with wind or heat affecting the 3M tape on the strip?

is that electrical tape holding the wires routed thru the spoiler legs?

The light and the 3M tape is holding up nicely. I noticed last weekend the electrical tape is not. I plan to just replace with new for now. I needs to be thin and hold the wires closely to bracket.

Now that I know the electrical tape is not holding adhesion but protected wires nicely, I will look for alternative.

Looks great. Could you take a pic of it from the top down while standing closer to the car.. almost to the bumper?

Thanks,
Bryan

I have it back on lift. When I get down, I will take a couple more pics and post.
