Default Filming car show pilot - need stunning scenic locations

Hi Gents,

I'm scouting locations in the next coming weeks for the pilot episode of an automotive program we've got....

I'm looking for some draw dropping scenic locations with great driving roads in the UK.

At the moment my thoughts are with Scotland/ Isles of Skye etc. Ideally some tremendous valleys out of Lord of The Rings, an epic bridge, lakes with dams and anything else that is visually stimulating...

Your collective feedbacks would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

If you aren't limited to the UK but could make it over to Tuscany I could recommend quite a few...

+1 on N Wales, or what about the Isle of Man, has TT history, great roads (across the mountain there is no limit!), and some great scenery for such a small place!

Otherwise it's Scotland .... had some fun there and must get back!

You might need your diff lock switched on to access some of those locations Frank!

Don't overlook the mainland..some of the roads are proper. Just make sure you get up early to miss the campervans..

Below: The lecht road, invergarry to skye and applecross to shieldaig are all pretty to look at and fabulous to drive. The usual suspects like glencoe and pass of the cattle are probably overrated..

Frank,

There's always the Lake District? Not as far as bonny Scotland for you

My favourite is the Kirkstone Pass on route to Windermere

I vote for a chase scene in downtown London.

Come to Norfolk! There are some stunning tractors tootling around (good for contrasting the primary subject) and the colour and texture of the mud on the roads is absolutely mind-blowing.
