If you are blasting and powder coating your inlets then be ultra careful about cleaning them afterwards.

The media hides absolutely everywhere inside them and you will have to be clinical in removing all of it because it will kill your engine very quickly otherwise!

^^ agreed - you can't pc the intakes unless you tri-ehtelyne bath them first
so I just polished them up with a belt polisher - didn't go chrome-smooth tho

No worries lads im not powder-coating the inlets.

Im still planning on painting them, just not with PC...

I was surprised how easy this was to do and still two months on, it looks great. Especially for a daily driver. I did this while I changed all the intake rubbers and cleaned the manifold from PO oil overfills. Really makes a difference when you get it back together.

I was thinking about mirror polishing, but the wheels take enough looking after

How do you find the heater bypass pipe?
