Default Question for those who have done a manual RS rack swap

Hello all,

A question for those who have done a manual RS rack swap or possibly RS owners who have dropped their engines. What did you do with the power steering bracket that is bolted to the engine ? My mechanic reckons we can't simply remove it since it would leave the cam seal exposed. I can't find anything in PET related to this either. I've attached a pic of the offending item.

Cheers,

T

There's also the factory block off cover from the 993 RS which I used. but I think the aftermarket versions are cheaper if you don't need the "factory look".
