I'd buy a ZR-1 and lap them both

Congrats to the new owner!

I very nearly bought it a couple of years ago.

I hate to say it but it does make the 964 look pricey. Plus, lets be honest, you are gonig to way quicker in the newer car. Driver training or not, its going to a struggle to match a car like that driven with a little bit of confidence.

Still, I'm sure its more to run, and not quite as rewarding.

Glad you are going to use it as intended!

Since you were the one most affected by the threads original "RS or RS" question... was there a moment at the dealership were you thought about buying the GT3 RS instead? OR have you been there and done that already?

Good choice by the way.

The 964. The 997 is quicker and a better car, but there will always be a new version of the GT3 so soon you can't keep up and the value is going down every month. In the 964 you will always be "quick enough", have fun and the value will be solid.

Welcome to the site, and a lovely car as well. Definately a great investment and well priced. Had a look over the
car a month ago, didn't think Phil would actually sell, you have a good one, it wants for nothing!

Last year I was surprised to see that RS prices were similar.

To continue the series: The prices are similar.... so which one would you buy?

Gotta be the turbo S. Not even close

Maritime blue is one of my favorite P colors, but having driven a 997.2 S, its pretty damn quick. Hard to choose btw those 2
