Default How can I get Scantool Freeware?

I saw a reference to this on the Pelican board. I spent quite a bit of time running searches for the software. I've found lots of talk about it and some help using it. I've even found the interface at ToreB's site, but I can't find any source for the software itself. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks,

BTW my car is a Guard's Red '91 C2 Coupe

I trust that you realize that you need an interface between the 19 pin port on the car and your computer. This is referred to as the "Scantool". Just having the software is pretty much useless. It is a VAGCOM RS 232 OPTO interface module. ( sounds technical to some!)

The interface from ToreB, or someone else is a MUST!

Sure do. I wanted to be sure I could find the software. Now, I'm just waiting until after the Christmas mail rush to order the hardware.

Thanks

Just placed an order for the T-OBD and the 19 pin connector.

I need to do the adaptation to the car since I had the battery disconnected for about a week.
