Default Booster seat and young child in back...

Currently driving a 997 C2S, but the 964s are calling me back. Previous RSA owner and really considering swapping out the 997 for a 964 once my daughter is old enough for a booster seat. Anyone using a booster for a toddler or young child - how is the fit? Any issues? I went with the 997 initially because there is quite a bit more room for a child seat in the back. Any experiences would be much appreciated.

I use a Cosco High Back Booster. Fit is fine; kid seems to like it ok as he'll cry if I come to pick him up in the CRV

I use a boosters without backs in the rear seats of mine for my 7 and 5 year olds. They fit perfectly (cheap ones from Halfords in the UK). It won't be too long before they fit more safely without the boosters though (despite what the law says about being 130cm tall or whatever it is)

FWIW, not quite this one but similar (and this one shown definitely fits nice and snuggly too): http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...egoryId_165554

until my daughter grew out of it this year, I used this one from Volvo - fits like a glove.

this is my daughter's current arrangement in the 997. she loves it and has plenty of room. just want to make sure she'll be comfortable in a 964, if i decide to go more 'classic' in my ownership.

I put my 2.5 year old girl in the back of my 964 cab. Bought a Baby's r us seat, and it was the best fit as it was narrow on the bottom. I swapped out retracable lap belts with aircraft syle you tighten down yourself like in a commercial plane and installed a rear teather off a bolt already holding down the top to the rear of the car. Piece of cake, and tight as hell. Her mother is livid, but that is why we are not together cause she has no common sense. Good luck!

I use Bubble Bums!

They are inflatable booster seats!

Small footprint so an easy fit into the small back seats. Soft so don't scratch the leather. Handy for holidays too - they deflate so easy to take away with you for rental cars. And good for use at the cinemas too! (I'm not a rep - honest!).
