Beautiful Rims. I am planning to fix same Rims on my 964 Carrera 2. If you don't mind, can you send me the model number and the size of your Rims to match same look. Thanks, Fadi

Default E88's finally !!

Took a while waiting for these to come from Europe and then waiting for the crud of winter to go away, but finally got them on the car.

0288108 centers, 8" et49 (f), 10" et49 (r)
Michelin 4S, 225/40-18 and 265/35-18

near identical spec to mine right down to the michelins in the exact sizes. they look brilliant on your white RSA.
i may move on from mine in the late spring. looking for something a little different that i already have in mind.

Hi guys, I don't know if you heard about this German company. They sell BBS motorsport wheels byt they also have a licens from BBS to manufacture the E28 centers but in aluminium. So this is a really good option for you who wants the E28 centre but can't find a used set. I did check the price level and it's the same money as a E88 centre. And it's also good for us who already have E28 and maybe need a replacement. https://www.fischertechnic-bbs.com/d...en-e28-vintage

That's a very interesting lead!
Any idea how much they are asking for a set?

I asked some time ago and it was like 550€ for a centre. So the same as a new E88. Rest of the parts for a complete rim are from BBS, so the cost is the same regardless of E28 or E88.

I'm confused as to the point. The E28 in magnesium weighed the same as the E88 in aluminum. So this makes a heavy E28.... for what?
