just my 2 cents. i work in an auto dealer installing aftermarkey parts. One of my fellow co horts just finished wrapping his 2012 dodge charger rt with lime green vinyl costing $900 cdn . took him 26 hours to do or full weekend. to be honest it looks good as it has a slight gloss like paint and is suppose to last 7-10 years. He has run his car through the car wash and it has held up thus far.Definately a 2 person job as i helped him with the hood and roof. I say try worst case scenario you out a few hundred buck and no permanent damage to car.

Friend did it to his often-needing-panels-repainted Spec Miata, with a different manufacturers product. So his need to make it "Porsche Quality" wasn't present. (He does have a GT3.) Took him a LONG time, with help. I absolutely believe the above time quote.

Yes the mirror was also wraped, my first atempt, it is a bit wrinkled, but did it in 5 minute just to se the color.

This is definitely a two man job which requires time. That's why, when the car will hibernate for the winter, I'll get my heater going in the garage and take the entire Winter to do it.

BTW: I have seen plenty of GT3 with full body wrap. There is event one guy with a white GT3 that wraped is car "White". He said this will help protect the original paint.

I really like the Cement Gray color available on the new Scions.

Scion Cement Gray

My wife says it looks like a nail polish color.

May look good to some, but far from blue,.....

I am staying with blue for many reasons, ... but mostly because my car's registration and insurance card says "BLUE"

I voted for sky blue, as it will give you the best feeling of a new car when you eventually actually repaint it midnight blue (also my fav colour!).

I assume you looked at gloss blue metalic and brushed metal blue steel... they seem to best replicate midnight blue (?)...

I think this is a great project and think the mirror came out great for a quick wrap.

Maybe it doesn't matter but: Where will you put the seam on the mirror? How can it be avoided?
